This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.
I've been reading thrillers recently and, sometimes, I find some plots very silly. For example, a patient uses a video to blackmail a psychiatrist named Adrienne into prescribing him drugs. The video is about Adrienne slashing tires of somebody's car. She worries that the video will wreck her career so she asks her boyfriend to sneak into the patient's house and delete the video. Her boyfriend already tell her that probably multiple of copies are made. Adrienne acknowledges that and still insists on him doing it. Of course, it backfires. The patient records the whole process. Adrienne learns that and decides to kill him. I feel like the writer just couldn't come up with a reasonable motivation for killing and created such a silly plot.
