I've been reading contemporary thrillers lately and decided to branch out to classical ones, so I bought "The Complete Poetry of Edgar Allan Poe" online a few days ago. However, I'd misunderstood the word "poetry", so what I got was a book with only poems. I actually wanted to read Edgar's short stories. I first knew him was when I was watching a puppet show featuring his short stories in 2018. At that time, I thought he was a scriptwriter.

See above. What did you think "poetry" meant? We don't refer to famous writers by just their first name.

If it included all his poems and short stories, it would be called "The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe". If it just says "poetry" in the title, it's just poetry!
