This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

I've just read an article about when to take down a Christmas tree. I'm surprised that if we don't remove the decorations after the Twelfth Night, it might bring bad luck. My tree has been up for two years. Maybe I should stash it away after Christmas to see if I will have more good luck.

I've read it four times, and I don't see any errors.

You do know that you don't have to believe everything you read, don't you?

Added: Technically, "I was surprised to learn" is better.

Why is "Twelve Night" capitalized when it's not referring to the name of Shakespeare's play?

It seems that Twelfth Night is a special day.

It's the generally accepted official name for January 6th (twelve nights after Xmas).

It's actually January 5th. It marks the end of Christmas, not that it's celebrated where I'm from.

Twelfth Night (the night of January 5th) is celebrated on the night before Epiphany (January 6th).
