This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

Last night, I spent three hours reading e-books, and something scary happened. After putting down my Kindle and starting to browse on my phone, all the words I saw on it were blurry. Was I going blind? I immediately stopped using my phone and rested my eyes. Fortunately, my eyes are back to normal today. I need to ration my time of reading e-books.

You could say you need to limit the time you read e-books, but I don't think the original is wrong. (Some might disagree with me.)

I'd say "I need to ration/limit the time I spend reading e-books".

Isn't that a dangling particple in the second sentence?
