This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

Yesterday, I learned to ride a bicycle but I failed. I saw another person only took 20 minutes to learn it and succeeded. Also, I don't know how to swim. It's scary to stay under the water because I'm worried the water would go into my ears and nose.

No. If you learned to ride a bike, you can't have failed. You tried to learn how to ride a bike but you failed.

No, you didn't fail. It was your first try, and you learned something -- if only what not to do. (Learning how to keep your balance is tricky. It might not come to you right away. Don't give up!)

As for the swimming, it takes a bit of practice to get that right. Be patient! Also, you might want to reconsider worrying about something if you don't see it happening to other people. (You might want to consider watching other people for a bit to see if you can learn their technique.)

You can do it!
