"Do not make yourself sad because of this problem."

Is the sentence okay to use and then, because of this problem modifies sad or make and is there a meaning difference between them, you think?

Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

Now I think I know something: if the sentence is fine, because of this problem modifies Do not make yourself sad
Do you agree with me? Thank you so much.

Yes. Do not let this problem cause you any sadness.
