Employees might be paid a good rate or a good amount - it refers to salary. It doesn't refer to bills or claims.

Your claim was either paid or it wasn't.

But if we have to say "some claims" were paid higher amount than others then what do we need to say?
 
Why would you be comparing insurance payout rates? Are you looking into fraudulent payouts?

You just said it, though I don't know why you quoted some claims. :) I think you want to say something like The company paid more on some claims than it paid on others.
