His use of "will" is correct and natural. "Going to" would also be correct and natural.

Note my corrections above, particularly to the correct word order for a question.

I thought that will is used for spontaneous acts and he uses it in the way that it is a kind of plan.

I don't know where you got that idea from. I suggest you forget it. There are some contexts in which we prefer one over the other but I promise you that there is no hard and fast rule.
 
I am asking because there is a leitmotif in all grammar books as it concern future tense: In casual speech and writing, will and going to are often interchanged. However, it's important to know that in formal writing, there is a distinction. Will is used when referring to the future with certainty and for recent, rapid decisions. Going to is used to refer to events that have been previously planned.
 
That might be what grammar books say but I'm not convinced native speakers follow that "rule".
