Do we use the word 'Horst' to refer to 'horse'?
It seems less common, but is it natural to use it in all contexts like the word 'horse'?"

The meaning of the word "horst" (not capitalised so a common noun) can be found HERE.

However, you searched for the meaning of "Horst" (capitalised, so a proper noun/name). It's a surname mainly in Germany and The Netherlands and its origins are German.

I'm not really clear why you think it has anything to do with English.

"Horst" is a name. You might meet a German man sometime with that name. It's not a word any more than "William" is a word.

and what does it mean?
