Hi everyone,
I'm considering taking the DELTA and wondering if it actually leads to a higher salary in practice. Have any of you seen a noticeable increase in pay after completing it, especially when working for online schools?
Any insights or experiences would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Sometimes. Reputable face to face schools like International House have traditionally had an automatic salary increase for Delta, Trinity Diploma and/ or MA. Not sure about online schools or the situation more generally nowadays.

Thank you, Alex, much appreciated.

Are you asking specifically about work in the UK? If so, then yes, DELTA-qualified teachers typically earn a higher hourly wage (around £2 to £5) than those who are newly CELTA-qualified. In most private language schools, teachers don't typically get a salary but get paid by hours of classroom time.
