"Exposition" is the French for "exhibition".Hi,
In a previous post of mine I wasn't sure what the right one was. Could anyone please give me some explanation?
Thanks.
"Exposition" is the French for "exhibition".
"Exposition" and "expo" can be used in English. The first is recorded in 1851 and the second in 1963, so comparatively recent. I don't think one is more specialised than the other. Online Etymology DictionaryThanks a lot. I hear "exposition" is a broader term, while "exhibition" is more specialised. Is that so? And we can use "exposition/expo" in English, can't we?
Ta!
