It's a good question. Use the plural noun foods when talking about different varieties (or types) of food); e.g., There are foods that are healthy for you and foods that are not. Fatty foods, for example, are not healthy for you.


  • Does the airline serve a lot of different foods: Italian, Mexican, French, and so on?
 
thanks for the reply but i wish to say that we both know that there no airlines serving only a particular type of food. They always have varieties right?
