I asked a teacher who works in a local college a question:

What course do you offer for next term?

Is the question natural?

No. It's too vague.

Are you trying to find out only what course that teacher will be teaching next term?

I'd find it more natural to use the plural 'courses', unless you already know for a fact that the person only teaches one course.

Still, I'd probably say "What courses are you teaching next term"?

I think it is more likely for a teacher to teach a few subjects in a course rather than a few courses.

That depends many factors- the person could teach short courses.

In most colleges and universities, teachers/lecturers/professors offer several courses.

It depends on what you mean by course I suppose.
My understanding is that a subject is a subset of a course. For example, a business course includes subjects like management, accounting, economics. A primary school course or an A-levels course covers the various school subjects.

... an A-level[strike]s[/strike] course covers the various school subjects.

I think that wording is misleading - it sounds as if you're saying that one A-level course covers multiple subjects. That's not the case. Each A-Level has its own single subject.

Few teach Latin and astrophysics, but they may teach courses.

NOTE: BE term = AE semester
