Hi,

Can ''get aprt'' be used in the following sentence?

''I never wish to get apart with my beloved friends.''

That sentence does not work for me. It works as "be apart from my beloved friends".

The original sentence is unnatural.

mawes, please wait longer than 11 minutes before giving answers you only 'think' might be correct. Allow teachers or native speakers to respond first.

I'm a native speaker.

Matthew, "grow apart" is indeed common but suggests the relationship changes over time. You can be physically still near someone from whom you have grown apart.

"Be apart from" (or "be parted from") suggests being physically separated.
