How do you say when you forget what you were talking about before getting interrupted? Is the following fine to intend to mean that I forget what i was talking about when I had a talk with somebody ?

- I got lost in talk

"I lost my train of thought." could be used as well, according to dict.cc.

Or even 'I have lost it'.
 
Can the expression "I've lost the track." be used as well or does it have another meaning?
I heard it on a TV show when a guy was talking about something and the other one replied, "Sorry, I've lost the track." because he couldn't follow him anymore (with his thoughts.)
