Dear all,

I knew that "Go tell it on the mountain" is a novel. But what does it refer to when someone asks another saying "go tell it on the mountain" I sit a famous expression?

Thanks a lot.

Does it mean, "Go and spread the word"??

Thanks.

It's also a Christian song, and yes, the idea would be that you should go tell it on the mountain, over the hills, and everywhere to spread the word.

It may be sarcastic. What is the context, maiabulela?
