Dear Teachers

I would like to know if the follow sentence sound natural to native speaker. If it doesn't sound good, how can it be improved?

Victor has good command of verbal presentation skills in English and Mandarin.

Please advise

This sounds better to me: Victor has good presentation skills in English and Mandarin.

Thank Tdol, how about the following? Sorry to bother you again.

• Good presentation skills in English and Mandarin, coupled with strong Excel and PowerPoint charting skills, to present complex economic and market issues in plain language to clients and advisors.

Others' feedbacks are also welcome

Regards

Any reason to focus only on the charting skills?

Dear Tdol, because the employer would like a somebody who is strong in charting skills as well. Or I should break it into two:

• Good presentation skills to present complex economic and market issues in plain English and Mandarin to clients and advisors.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to produce client-oriented charts to illustrate investment strategies and ideas.

Thanks every body.

Hi,

Could we speak of Victor's "oratory" or "oratorical abilities" both in English and Mandarin, or would it be too far-fetched?

Greetings,

I like this.

No, we wouldn't. Only great leaders of men exercise oratory skills. Giving a business presentation is too mundane for that word.
