"Maybe it was that which soured Malcolm’s mood before he went on, but the already stressed guitarist was in grim mood as the band ploughed into first number, which was ‘Hells Bells’. ‘I remember I’d had a word with Brian before the gig,’ says Jeffery. ‘I said, “Whatever you do, don’t talk too much.” Cos Bon never said much, he just said what he had to say, “All right, lads!” Then he’d walk back and get his head down and let the band take over. But Brian got carried away. It was his first gig, thanking people for welcoming him and that, cos the crowd was great. It was like they were saying, “Thank you for continuing this thing. Bon would love this, that this thing didn’t get curtailed.”

What does "Brian got carried away. It was his first gig, thanking people for welcoming him and that" mean in other words? What does "and that" mean?

He talked to the audience after being told not to.

The phrase 'and that' is used by some speakers in very casual speech to mean something similar to 'etcetera'.
