--Frank, do remember to bring your homework the day after tomorrow.
--Of course. I wouldn’t if you ( ) me .
A. hadn't reminded B. didn't remind

I think answer B is better than answer A.

What does a native teacher think about it?

Thanks!

Jason

I would also use B, because it is the past subjunctive used in the second conditional.

Not a teacher.

I'd use A.

I thought A should be used in the third conditional like "I wouldn't have remembered if you hadn't reminded me", am I wrong?

You are right, but in the original sentence 'have remembered' is understood.

It is not yet sure that he will remember to bring it because it is the day after tomorrow, so I guess the original should be "wouldn't remember now" rather than "wouldn't have remembered", am I wrong?
