Which are correct:

1-These books, when published, will be what he is forever known.

2-These books, when published, will be what he will forever known.

3-These books, when published, will complete the saga for which he is forever known.

4-These books, when published, will complete the saga for which he will be forever known.

I prefer '2' and '4' personally. In '3' and '4' part of the saga has been already published and he is already famous, but I still feel we need the future tense with 'forever'.

Gratefully,
Navi.

Only 4 works for me.

My variants:

1) These books, when published, are what he will be known for forever.
2) These books, when published, will complete the saga for which he will be known forever.

I agree with the above answers. "Forever known" and "known forever" mean the same here.

He will always be remembered for these books works better for me.
