Hello Teachers, Which one is correct, which or where? and Why?

I like living in a house____ is big and bright!

As for the "why" part of the question, "where" is incorrect because

...where is big and bright.


doesn't make sense. There is no subject in this clause.
 
Which. However we would probably say 'that'.
Wouldn't it be "the house" (but not "a house") then (saying "that" instead of "which")?

No that is not how we would say it, unless you would be referring to a specific house that the listener(s) know you are referring to as opposed to others (some may be small and dull).
You are making a general statement, therefore: a house.
