She has two sisters.
How many sisters does she have?
Why not "does she has"?

Because we always use the bare infinitive after the auxilary verb DO.

A NON-TEACHER'S OPINION

Suthipong,

(1) English is very difficult for learners and native speakers like me.

(2) But there is one easy thing about it: you always (no exceptions) use

the base form of the verb (the form that you look for when using a dictionary)

after do/ does/ did.

(3) Today is February 17, 2012. From this day on, you will never make another

mistake regarding this matter.

(4) How many sisters does she ____?

(a) That is a question. So change it to regular order for analysis:

She does ___ how many sisters? (There's that word "does"!)

(4) How many donuts did he eat?
How many boyfriends does Mona have?
Mona does not have any boyfriends.
Did Mona have a boyfriend last year?
I do not believe that George speaks 10 languages. But someone told me, "Oh, yes! George does speak 10 languages!"

As you can see, this rule is a piece of cake (= super easy).
