how often do you use "ain't"

I'm just curious how often you say ain't. To be honest, I come across with this "word" every day, but I don't use it. Should I start saying it?

I don't use it unless I'm singing along to pop songs. No, you shouldn't start saying it. Said with a foreign accent, it would sound like you haven't put much effort into grammar, or you're trying too hard to be colloquial. It's unlikely to endear you to anyone.

I only use it when I'm being sarcastic or I'm quoting something.

I use it some in informal conversation with friends. But I agree with Raymott. With a foreign accent it would sound peculiar.

I use it fairly often but only in set phrases. "Well, that just ain't right" or "You ain't seen nothing yet!"

Or I use it deliberately to set a mood.

I had an amusing (to me) conversation with someone in law enforcement who was working undercover. After his first day, his case officer, having listened to every word, had to remind this person that he was not supposed to be the college-educated person he really was and to adjust his language accordingly. He is now horrified to realize that "ain't" has crept into his vocabulary when off duty as well. He feels pretty strongly about NOT using it. I think he will have to be de-programmed when the case is over.

I am not a teacher.

I never use it myself. I lived in London for over ten years and it didn't creep into my vocabulary.
