Is there a specific way of referring to university professors? Can I use "renowned"? Or distinguished?

1.I would like to work with renowned professors Dr John Brown and Dr Lisa Green in this course.

2. I would like to work with distinguished professors Dr John Brown and Dr Lisa Green in this course.

Those are both good.
