Hi, everyone. I have two questions.
Should I use 'life' or 'human life'?
Does 'it' clearly refer to 'life'/'human life'?

Since life/human life is so precious, I think participating in risky sports should be prohibited to prevent the loss of it.

Perhaps I should use this plural version?

Since human lives are so precious, I think participating in risky sports should be prohibited to prevent the loss of them.

All your variations are fine. I usually use whatever is most concise.

I prefer concise versions too. In this context, I'd simply say "I think risky sports should be banned to avoid loss of life/to avoid people dying/to avoid [unnecessary] deaths".
