We say someone sits in the front or back of a car but what if someone is sitting in the middle seat? If there is a seven seater and someone is sitting in the middle one, then what should they say "I am sitting in the middle of the car"?

I have lost track of the number of times I've had to add a question mark after "what should they say" in your posts. You CANNOT continue with the suggested quote after that.
Could they say "I am sitting in the middle of the car"?
No. That doesn't make sense. They're not necessarily in the middle (the exact centre) of the car. If they're in the middle seat of three seats at the front or way in the back, they're not in the middle of the car. They're simply in the middle of that row.

In what real-life context do you think you'll need to describe exactly where you are/were sitting in a seven-seater car?

I sit in my office's cab in the middle.

Did you not see emsr2d2's question, @tufguy?

I sit in my office's cab in the middle. ❌
I'm pretty sure we've told you before that your office doesn't have its own cab.
Your first sentence was lacking punctuation. Your second sentence is grammatically incorrect.

You still haven't explained why you would ever need to tell anyone where you sit in a car.

I told you. I sit there in the cab that picks me up.

No. Please try harder to understand my question. I want to know when and why you will ever need to say this sentence out loud (in any language).

No, it's not a "middle seat."

A car or SUV has a front and a back seat. If there is a third row in an SUV, it's called the "third row" or even the "way back."

No matter how much it may defy logic, if you are sitting in the row of seats directly behind the driver, you are in the back seat.

I think the OP is talking about cars that can seat three people across, not from front to back.

You don't get seven seats in only two rows.

Good point. Having said that, it's also unlikely you'd get seven seats in three rows either! It's likely to be two people up front and then two rows of three seats behind. That's eight seats!
@tufguy Can you find a photo of the interior of the sort of car you're thinking of?

2 in front bucket seats. 3 in bench seat in the back. 2 in smaller bench in the way back.

This is pretty common in midsize SUVs here. Many times the way back seats are a gimmick, not really usable for anything other than short rides with small children. But it allows the manufacturers to market as 7 seats.

Full size, truck-based SUVs might have 8 as the claimed capacity, with a wider way back bench.

The only person I know with a car with more than two rows of seats does call them the front, back and middle.
On our long drive to Glasgow, my husband and I sat in the front, my three kids sat in the middle and my friends sat in the back.

Thank You very much. This is what I was asking.

Can we say "I will sit in the third row or you sit in the back" and "I will sit way back in the car"?

Please give us a scenario in which you would use the sentence "I will sit in the third row or you sit in the back".

While talking to my office colleagues. We often talk about it.
