Hello Teacher, should I say "I am wondering" or "I have wondered"

I am wondering if you have given thought to our suggestion to hold a meeting at your place.

Or

I have wondered if you have given thought to our suggestion to hold a meeting at your place.

Try "I was wondering." It gives the sense that you wondered in the past and that your wondering continues to the present moment.
