Adverb + modal verb

a. I can’t definitely go out tonight.
b. I definitely can’t go out tonight.
c. I definitely will try to make it to the party.
d. I will definitely try to make it to the party.

According to this link https://www.thefreedictionary.com/Modal-Auxiliary-Verbs.htm except a, all the other options are correct. Do you agree with that? Does a sound unnatural to you?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Mnemon, please note I have changed your thread title. Titles should be unique and relevant to the thread, and should include some/all of the words/phrases/sentences you are asking us about. The subject of your question should appear only in the main body of the post. I have moved it to the top of the post for you.

All four are possible in BrE. A could be used if someone said "Can you definitely go out tonight?" and the responder wanted to make it clear that they weren't certain enough to say "definitely". It has a completely different meaning from B.
C and D mean pretty much the same as each other. D is more likely in BrE.
