I didn't notice you called
vs
I didn't notice your call

Thank you !

Hi.

Which one is more common?

1. I didn't notice you called.
[STRIKE]
vs[/STRIKE]
2. I didn't notice your call.

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Please note my corrections above. In written English, we don't put a space before a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark. You must end every sentence with one appropriate punctuation mark.

Both of your sentences are possible but I don't find the use of "notice" natural. We usually use it for things we can see. I would expect "I didn't hear my phone [when you rang]" or something similar.

The common expression is:

I missed your call.

(British English might be different.)

:)
