"I got this information from your website" or "I got this information through your we

"I got this information from your website" or "I got this information through your website". Which one is correct?

If the information was in the site, use the first one.

If the website guided you to somewhere else to get the information, use the second.

If you took it directly from the website, I'd probably say "I found this information on your website".

Why are you telling them this? It is probably more logical that you are telling someone else where you got the information. If you are using the information to let them know what they should do and are unwilling to, it might be better to say that the website states that.....
