Which is correct:

I knew this is where I wanted to go to school.
or
I knew this is where I want to go to school.
or
I knew this was where I wanted to go to school.
 
Which is correct?

1. I knew this is where I wanted to go to school.

2. I knew this is where I want to go to school.

3. I knew this was where I wanted to go to school.

Please note my changes above. Always end a question with a question mark. It's much easier for us to respond if you number your sentences. Also note that I have changed your thread title. Titles should be unique, relevant to the thread, and contain some/all of the words/phrases/sentences you are asking us to look at. Titles such as "grammar question" (your original title) are far too generic and could refer to thousands of threads on the forum.

Of your three sentences, I would use only #3. Following "I knew" with "this was" is grammatical and logical.
 
Probably the latter but it really depends what you mean. Can you give us some more context to show this?
