Hi,

Could you please check the following for any mistakes?

I live in a quaint little village which is about 300 kilometres from the nearest, big city.
I live in a quaint little village which is located about 300 kilometres from the nearest, big city.
They are both OK with my corrections.

I think 'which is located' can simply be omitted.

It can, Matthew. But it's OK with it, too.

I wouldn't use the comma.

I'd advise using a comma before the non-defining relative clause (before which).

kilometers (AmE)
kilometres (BrE)

The same applies to millimetres, centimetres, metres, millilitres, centilitres, litres.

I'm not sure which spelling other variants use.

You could say:

I live in a quaint little village 300 kilometers from the nearest big city.
