I am studying the meaning - I mean no harm to you - (meaning) no intention to harm you.
I am curious to know if we replace "no harm" with something else, does it still mean the same? For example I made up this sentence - "I know very well I can't possibly go back to you for I mean only disgrace to you"
Does this sentence mean "I know very well I can't possibly go back to you for I only intend to bring disgrace to you"? Am I right?
