Could you please tell me if my understanding is correct?
1. hear/see + object + past participle
The past participle here has a passive meaning and works as an object complement.
“Watch, notice, observe, look at, listen to, feel” cannot be used in the pattern above.
Examples:
1) I heard the song sung over and over again.
2) I saw the wood cut in half/two.
