Are these two sentences correct?

When I reached her, I stopped briefly to pick her up. I asked her to get in the car, but she refused. I think that she must have not trusted me.

May I ask why the sentence above is wrong when we can have the following:

I think I should have helped her.
I thought that I should help her.
 
'Must not trusted' is ungrammatical.
'Must have not trusted' is grammatical and refers to the past.

Must is a modal verb which can only be followed by a bare infinitive or a conjugation that begins with a bare infinitive.

Is the following correct now?

I thought she did not trust me.
 
I thought [that] she must not trust me works fine for my American English ears. We usually would omit ​that.
