There's this youtube channel where a couple of guys make video posing as chefs. Since they always pretending to be chefs, I was wondering if they are chefs in real life too.

I'm not sure if 'real life' is the correct term to use here.
I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything.

Your use of "real life" is perfect there. However, the rest is a little illogical. If you think they're chefs in real life, they're neither posing as nor pretending to be chefs.

Remember to capitalise the names of companies exactly as they do. The official way to write "YouTube" is with those two capital letters.

Every single video has a chef and some customers trying to scam the chef/restaurant. Even though the videos themselves are not about food or restaurants.
