I watched only half movie. I couldn't watch full movie. I was 2 hours 20 minutes long so I watched it until 1 hour 10 minutes only.

Please check my sentences.

The first needs tidying up, the second sentence is unnecessary, and the third need proofreading. If you tidy up the third, you can get rid of the first two.

I watched only half of the movie. It was 2 hours 20 minutes long so I watched it until 1 hour 10 minutes only.

I watched only half of the movie.:tick: It was 2 hours 20 minutes long so I watched it until 1 hour 10 minutes only.:cross:
When you write X so Y, you mean that X caused Y. The length of a movie does not, by itself, cause you to watch only part of it. You might want to write something like I only watched the first half because it was so long. [Note that so has a different meaning in my sentence than in yours.]

Write out the numbers: two hours and twenty minutes.

Is my second sentence totally wrong? Can I say "I watched it until one hour and twenty minutes"?

It's unnatural.
No.
GS has given you a natural version. Why are you trying to re-word an unnatural one?

I am wondering what is the proper way of telling the exact time we watched that movie for?

I am wondering what [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] the [STRIKE]proper[/STRIKE] correct way of [STRIKE]telling[/STRIKE] saying [STRIKE]the exact time[/STRIKE] exactly how much of the movie we watched is. [STRIKE] that movie for?[/STRIKE]

I watched only the first hour and ten minutes.

I watched only the first hour and ten minutes.

Ems, there's a stray verb in your edited version of Tufguy's question.

If you're referring to the first "is", it is actually struck through. The problem with the way the forum looks is that frequently it's not at all clear when there's a strikethrough of such a short word.

You were quick! I noticed that and deleted my incorrect post about thirty seconds after posting it.

I've reinstated your deleted post, just because you might well not be the only person who can't see the strikethrough so the posts serve a useful purpose.
