I would be grateful if you let me know the exact meaning of this seemingly simple sentence:

I WOULDN'T LET MYSELF BELIEVE IN THEM.

Can I say it means....

I didn't believe in them.

I didn't want to believe in them.

I couldn't believe in them.


??
