I'll have an/the oatmeal and bagel with cream cheese. Are both okay?

I'll have an/the oatmeal and bagel with cream cheese.

Are both okay?
 
No. You would say "I'll have the oatmeal, and a bagel with cream cheese." (If you happen to be ordering breakfast in MikeNewYork's neighborhood, you'd say "and a bagel with a schmear." ;-) )
 
In BrE, at least, it would be perfectly acceptable to just say "I'll have oatmeal please".
 
What about the bagel and cream cheese?
 
"... followed by a bagel with cream cheese please". :)
 
I am having a bagel with lox, onion, tomato and cream cheese, as we speak. :-D
 
That sounds delicious, apart from the lox (brined salmon in BrE) - I'm vegetarian.
 
Salmon is a vegetable. :lol:
