When I was filling in the education background at https://www.lsac.org/, I came across this.

“Name of certificate, degree, or exam awarded in indigenous terms”, as shown at the bottom of the screenshot I have uploaded.

I find the part in bold confusing. What does it really mean?

indigenous adjective
in·dig·e·nous | \ in-ˈdi-jə-nəs \
Definition of indigenous
1: produced, growing, living, or occurring naturally in a particular region or environmentindigenous plantsthe indigenous culture
2: INNATE, INBORN

It's a poorly written way to ask for the name of the certificate in the language of the institution that awarded it or a literal translation. Here "indigenous" means "as used in the institution's country".
