Are these correct?
 
If "some months" was possible in any form, I'd have said so.
 
Yes, it's wrong. Bear in mind that "just a few" is a natural and common collocation, but "just some" isn't.
"In just some months..." is wrong.
But "There are just some people who..." doesn’t sound wrong to me.

"Just some people can solve it."
 
"There are just some people who can solve it."
Perhaps this is possible (though I'd prefer "just a few" or "only some"), but "just some" doesn't work in the sentence you asked about in #3.

Sometimes some combinations are acceptable in certain structures but not in others.

There are five native speakers from the UK and the US who've told you, either expressly or by their reactions, that it doesn't work in the sentence you originally asked about. Why is that so difficult to accept?
