Can someone please tell me if the term “individuals” is used correctly in the sentence? Thank you. I am trying to refer to the individual efforts of members of these groups, when groups are mentioned.

“I would like to recognize the many dedicated individuals who have made the journal what it is today, including former editors, the outstanding review board, the publishing team, authors, and readers.”
