Spain is lovely at the moment. They say it is going to be cold again next week, but today I had a lovely lunch ....sitting outside the restaurant on a terrace. Nice fish, nice drink...nice company;-)

next time I will invite all of you!! That would really be a feast:up:

In iran that is Thursday by 14 minutes past 12! How you doing? We are going to celeberate the last Wednesday of the year called Charshanbeh-Suri due to a tradition that Iranians get gathered in the cities and do light up the firecrackers and huddle some pieces of woods and make a big fire so they can jump up the fire and hope for a good year! ;-)

I'm gonna buy a lot of firecrackers, grenades and mortars!! ;-):-D That is so fuuuuuuuuuun!!

You are very lucky living in Spain. I love this country and wish to go there one day. My uncle promised me once to take me there but he went without me saying he forgot me.:-(
Maybe you will be bitter than he is and take me there.:lol:

My Indian friends: what is the occasion in India these days??

Well Bisho, it is one of the four major festivals in India, and it is called Holi. It is a two day festival, on Holi we burn the waste/scrap and other such useless things in Holi(now a days, it is mostly wood) and also try to burn the evil things within us.
The next day is called Dhulendi, and on this day we put GULAL(that is coloured dry powder) and give a message of friendship. Also, children play with coloured water on each other. It is an occasion when enemity is forgotten and friendship is enhanced.
(Though there have been some distortion in the tradition and people think it is a festival when they can drink and dance and do anything silly you can imagine.)

It is still like summer time. We are enjoying the weather so much. Even though I must warn you: in Madrid we have a saying: 4 months of winter and 8 months of hell!;-)

My lucky, in Iran you don't need to spend a small fortunate on firecrackers! But this is until five or six days before Charshanbeh-Suri! At this time, they are getting so much expensive and rare than ever! Give me your postal address to send some of those to you! ;-)
