Hi,

I want to express this sentence in a metaphor - it came to exist.

can I say this instead as I want to use the word light? - it came into the light.

Because I want to borrow this metaphor - it steps into the light (it means something becomes aware itself under the light on the stage).

it refers to a particular emotion such as fear, love, angry, etc.

Thanks.

No. Something coming to light means it becomes seen, one becomes aware of it.

It's not the same as coming into existence.

Thank you. I think - 'Something coming to light means it becomes seen, one becomes aware of it. ' is enough for me.

Shall I change it came into the light to it came to light then?

Thanks.
