Are these sentences correct:

1-It would be interesting for the match to go into extra time.

Meaning: It would be interesting if the match goes into extra time.

2-It would be interesting for it to rain during the game.
Meaning: It would be interesting if it rained during the game.

3-It would be interesting for them to lose the first match.
Meaning: It would be interesting if they lost their first match. (They won't find it interesting. But it will be interesting.)

4-It is interesting for him to be here.
Meaning: It is interesting that he is here.

I think '4' is a correct sentence, but it only means: He finds it interesting to be here. I don't think it could mean 'It is interesting that he is here.'

Gratefully,
Navi.

I'm not 100% sure it couldn't be used by anyone ever with that meaning, though most wouldn't.
