I am not going for the interview at that company. They are not offering good salary. It isn't worth exerting myself for.

Please check my sentences.
 
It should be a good salary. The last sentence is OK, but something like It isn't worth bothering/the bother would work better for me.

Use the shorter version.

It is indeed correct.

Several teachers have been trying to show you how to improve it, to make it more natural.
 
Give yourself a pat on the back, tufguy. You have managed to notice something and ignore it at the same time. No small accomplishment, that!

When people suggest other ways of saying something that are simpler and more natural, simply adopt them and give up on the wordy forms you favour.
