You can have an itch on, near, above, close to or even in your eye.

In fact, you have have an itch anywhere

Rohit should have scratched the itch for you.

(Is Rohit the name of a person?)

I wouldn't let anyone scratch my itching eyes - especially when I was driving.

It sounds very dangerous to me.

I heard this joke years ago:

Two English gentlemen used to have their little strolls with their beloved umbrellas. One of them had a custom of making wide circles in air with the tip of his dangerous weapon, which ended as it was to end - he once tripped over a cobblestone and the tip of his umbrella found its way right into the eye of his friend. Says the culprit:
"I'm extremely sorry, my dearest friend. I shall never forgive myself!"
"You shouldn't be bothered at all, old chap," the friend replies comfortingly, taking the umbrella out of his eye. "I still have another one."

I would say:

I got something in my eyes when I was driving. Rohit rubbed my eyes for me.

If I get something in my eyes, I would not be likely to let someone touch my eyes though.
