Hello !

I would like to know if "I've been studying all day" and "I've studied" mean the same thing? And tomorrow, could I say : " I had been studying all day" ?

Thanks.

Hello !

I would like to know if "I've been studying all day" and "I've studied all day" mean the same thing? In general, yes. And tomorrow, could I say : " I had been studying all day" ? You could, but I would expect some reference to another past action. Why not simply, "I studied all day"?

Thanks.

What do you mean by "some reference to another past action" ? I give you an example :
I had been studying all day, that's why i'm still tired.

Like this ?

Please note that we do not use spaces before question marks.

In your sentence, you need "have", not "had".

I should have said "another action", not necessarily "past". Your example is OK.

I had been studying all day when I suddenly realised I was supposed to have met a friend for lunch!

I had been studying all day when I fell asleep at my desk.

I had been studying all day - that's why I was so tired in the evening.

Your example doesn't work because you related the "I had been ... " action to a present fact, "I'm still tired".

It needs to be related to another past action etc.
