Hi everyone,

I know for a fact that the shape of the Japanese, Chinese and Koreans are different but is there one general word for these kinds of eye? I have heard slanted eyes could be considered racist, but I’m not sure.

The technical term for the skin fold is an 'epicanthal fold'. East Asian people themselves distinguish between 'single eyelids' and 'double eyelids'. Avoid using 'slanted'—if you want an adjective, I think 'almond-shaped' is safely unoffensive.
