Hello there,

I need to find a matching slogan for an abbreviation that would fit my app. I wonder if it the slogan keep the repetitions low sounds odd or like slang?

Many thanks in advance,
Bob

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Note my corrections and comments above. I have no idea what "Keep the repetitions low" is supposed to mean. Yes, it sounds odd and no, it doesn't sound like slang. You'll need to give us some more information. Can you tell us roughly what your app is/does, and what the abbreviation is that you're trying to match?

Thanks for the remarks!

The app allows users to create templates for forms. Target audience are search engine evaluators/raters that have to fill out forms in order to rate search engine results. By creating templates a user does not have to fill out the same things over and over again. You can think of autofill for addresses in browsers.

ktrl is the abbreviation, and the slogan would fit out of a functional perspective.

Well, I can certainly see now why you chose those four words. However, "low" doesn't really work grammatically (if you're concerned about that). We would say "Keep the repetitions down".

I'm looking for a slogan for an app with the abbreviation "ktrl." The app allows users to store templates and thus reduces the amount of typing. Does this slogan sound odd, or is it safe to use it in a professional environment?

ktrl - keep typing really less!

Keybob, I have merged your two separate threads because your new post is simply a continuation of the existing conversation. You didn't need to go through the whole explanation again. You should have simply added a response to the existing thread, suggesting the new slogan.

"Keep typing really less!", I'm afraid, is pretty terrible! We don't use intensifiers with "more/less" so adding "really" is ungrammatical. Your original was a better suggestions.
